MHD Map Switching
I have seen how easy it is to switch from map to map on the fly.
My question is actually regarding the "power level in percent per map slot" https://mhdtuning.com/collections/mh...icense-for-b58 Is the percent from the total power, or the gained power? Example: 470hp @ 80% = 384hp | Or is it an estimated gain of 150hp @ 80% = 120hp gain Has anyone used this and how do you like it? My thought process is to use the percent of the full tune because I dont think I need or want the full gain. Stock clutch slipping and other little things pop up when Stage 2 is in use that I would like to stay away from. This is all near future plans at this point. FBO with MHD happening in the next month.

All those percentages are rough figures, best way is to try them and decide which suits your needs but I can assure you the lowest percentage is really slow.

My guess would be that it it's more of a "variation VS stock parameter" ratio rather than a power output ratio. Let's take a silly example : say stock timing is 5 degrees and stage 2 timing is 15 degrees. Then 60% of stage 2 would be 11 degrees of timing (namely 5 from stock + 60% of the extra 10 degrees brought by stage 2).
And same logic goes for boost. It's just my guess though, someone from MHD would have to confirm or infirm. |
