330d clicking noise under acceleration
Hi,
I have got an F31 330d, and I have noticed that when accelerating, a clicking noise starts in the engine bay at around 2000 rpm and increases as the revs climb. This only occurs when the accelerator is depressed and engine speed increases. The noise disappears when I let off the go pedal. Any idea what this could be. The car otherwise drives fine, with plenty of power, no smoke etc. Thank you |

Could be many things. Is this on a cold or warmed up engine? All the time? Does is depend on where you got fuel from?
I'm leaning on it being the fuel injectors. Perhaps a good fuel injector cleaner next time you fill up.

Happens when the engine is cold. Not driven it yet whilst warmed up with this sound.

Perhaps a video would be warranted. Hard to diagnose things online without some audio/video component.
