Hi Everyone,

I just placed my order last week however I was wondering if anyone had more information on the type of tires that we as Canadians can order with the wheel options.

My SA simply told me the last option on the website ($750) were "race tires that wear out quickly" and didn't advise them. I will not be tracking the car and was wondering if anyone had some input with regards to the tire packages/manufacturers

We don't really get much in the way of options. Either you stick with the default tire(s) that BMW will install or you upgrade to the more race focused CUP2 tires for $750. Your SA is correct, the CUP2 tires are a more aggressive tire and will wear quicker.

The default tires are the Michelin PS4 or the Pirelli PZero. We don't get to choose which we want. It is basically a lottery. Most seem to want the PS4 tire but you could get the PZero.

Thanks for the response and yes you clarified the whole tire lottery they kept talking about in the USA.

I was just wondering if we Canadians also had the option to pick the Michelins but it seems like it's lottery time.
