Whats your 22 - 23 roll over status?

Hi guys,

Anyone here that had a 22 allocation that got rolled over to a 23 build? Did you get a new production number, any update on a build week from your dealer? Or similar to the US orders, same production number and already confirmed build week?

I was a MY22 scheduled for week 20, then was told it wouldn't happen by my dealer. I now have a new production number with a scheduled week 29 build.

My understanding is that it was BMW Canada giving people like myself with MY22 builds a quick turn around, but don't think it carried over like the US. I believe Canadian dealers got their allocations late June. I got my confirmation/ allocation June 23rd.

I was told it was a new allocation, as the dealer had to wait for it. I basically started my build from scratch as their were some changes to option packages, pricing, etc.

Flipped to status 150 on July 8th and now have a VIN number. Was scheduled for week 29 and went week 27.

As noted before, I was given a new production number when rolling over from MY22 to MY23.

Congrats! Thats good that you are making progress, should be here in September then I guess? Which province did you order from?

My SA told me last week that my car is scheduled for September build, no week or anything. Very frustrating, wont be before November that the car comes to BC. That will be 9 months since ordered... not really prioritizing on BMW's side...

My car is ordered from St. John's BMW in NL. Hoping August delivery, as the car will arrive at the Halifax port and then it's a quick trip to St. John's

The dealer can tell you what your actual production week is. You might need to probe him a little. The information is available to them. If your SA doesn't have access the sales manager definitely does!

Thats easy enough for the delivery, easily saves a few weeks not having to desl with the railway.

SA sent me screenshot of their system with this 09/2022 information but not much more. I am losing trust in this dealer, they have not even send me an updated build sheet to check what they have re-submitted... something is fishy

Which dealer did you purchase with? Check out my post “BC Delivery Stories” for my ordeal. Essentially 9 months since I placed the order and I don’t have the production date yet.
