2013 BMW 328 - left low beam malfunction
I get this alert occasionally, but all bulbs work. I can clear the alert by turning on the low beams (clears in about 5 seconds). Any suggestions? Maybe my battery needs replaced?

The battery isn't the cause of any and all alerts.
In this case it could be corrosion or a loose connection on the bulb connector. It could be just enough to prevent the short duration warm/cold check voltage from passing, triggering the alert. With the constant voltage present when the lights are switched on the voltage passes through, clearing the alert. That's not to say that low voltage from the battery couldn't be part of the problem, but even if that's the case there would be a reason why it only affects one bulb. |

Also take off the fender liner and inspect the wires going to the headlight. I had about three chaffed wires there that needed to be spliced/soldered
