Sound settings

I have a 340i with the harmon kardan sound system. What would be the best equalizer settings to get the best audio?

There was a thread a while back, and this was the recommendations:

BMW Harmon Kardon Sounds settings - from web forum

Treble 0
Bass 0

L7 on

100Hz +5
200Hz -5
500Hz +1
1kHz 0
2kHz 0
5kHz -1
10kHz -1

For me (using a dB meter, I found this to better being flat):
BMW Harmon Kardon Sounds settings - flat using soundmeter

Treble 0
Bass 0

L7 off

100Hz -10
200Hz +3
500Hz -3
1kHz +5
2kHz -4
5kHz -4
10kHz +4

You will find that different volume levels with drastic change how it sounds though.

Thanks, I don't like surround on, I just think it sounds to too open if that makes sense but Ill try your settings, thank you!

Use this to see what your system is doing:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....audioanalyzer

Set it on Spectrum Analyzer, Octave Bands, C-Weighting, Slow Weighting.

I don't like the surround either. I started with the first settings, and then ended up with the "flat" settings (second set). Seems to sound decent for low to moderate volume.
