CarPlay track list on HUD

Hi all,

Apologies for the daft question. But when using CarPlay, my song list isn't displayed on the HUD.

I just see current song and option to forward or go back one.

Assuming that's normal?

Yes, mine is the same. Mine had CarPlay from the factory and it’s always been like that. Shame they didn’t integrate CarPlay into the HUD better.

Thanks. Had CarPlay from factory. Had the iDrive updated yesterday to version Y (was on NBTEvo version K) to get full screen. Was hoping that would fix the HUD but no dice. Oh well.

How was that process of updating the idrive? Did you also have any changes with BimmerCode before updating?

Process seemed fairly straight forward. Took about 1.5h and he also coded a bunch of other stuff (M logo at startup, DRL’s etc).

Lost my HK equaliser settings. Also lost car tracking so had to re-enable that. Not checked my saved pre-sets. Will check those tomorrow.

I had coded some bits via Beemercode. I think most of those changes are still there.
