Well since Im an active member here maybe I should say a few things to handful of people that dont want to tag me. Want logs here ya go this is the log from pull in question…

IHP Pure750 Dyno Log


IAT mid to high 90s, DA 4400 ft, and only 28.7psi last street logs shows 31/32psi so without heat soak should see better numbers. But I can prove it next week.

smoothing numbers ? Well here you go smoothing set to 3…

It hits 30 psi by 3900 RPM

Don't compare spooling to 20psi with spool to 30psi. Compare them spooling to eg 15psi. Also, higher gears will spool earlier in the rpm band and remember to compare WOT start RPM.

So if my memory serves me correct, I’m pretty sure the N55 Pure750 shares the exact size wheels as the B58 Pure800. With that being said, I can see it hitting roughly 630-650 on 31-32lbs of boost with a SAE correction factor and smoothing of 3 or so. From what I’ve seen, B58’s are usually around 650-680 with the same amount of boost. I know comparing different engines isn’t exact plus the aggressive of tunes comes into play, but to me it shows basically the capabilities of the turbo.

Keep in mind, most dynos can’t load the car like the street can.

I agree with the switch to the full frame for your goals of 700whp. I don’t think there’s any other option on the market to hit that.

All in all I applaud your build, it gives people who’ve wanting to see this turbo produce numbers a great idea of what to expect.

Where does the dyno sheet show that? Look at the logs from the dyno run and the street log where the car is able to see real load. Also like stated running out of meth and heat soak are going to take a toll on boost characteristics.

Im getting snippy cause instead of people wanting to ask questions and appreciate someone in the communitity trying to provide real world data for this turbo everyone wants to be nagtive and talk trash.

I’m sure we have interacted before - Have I ever trashed you or anyone? Did I “like” a comment that called your video a “waste of time”

Direct your frustrations at people who deserve it (or better yet, just ignore it!) and enjoy your car.

FYI this is the second dyno I’ve seen of the PS3 with late spool - houtan had the prototype. Since no logs were posted when I made my comment, all I see is 1500rpm for 600whp.

Theres not going to be a huge difference between 3 and 5. Again this wasnt to get final numbers this was to make sure I resolved my issues on the dyno that I experienced in California. We have, so when I go back I will be sure to display smoothing of 5 for everyone to see.

I didnt say you specifically were talking trash I just said everyone is being negative and talking trash but thats kind of the MO in this community sometimes. Also I understand logs werent posted but no one in here asked for them either. Everyone is so quick to want to roast. So sorry yes it is a little frustrating but just laying it out there for everyone.

Two, Houtan is PWG and his turbo ended up not being the production intent turbo. So cant really use his data. The only clean data Pure got was from a guy in Europe and thats where their advertised 610whp on E30 at 25 psi came from just fyi.

I'd would expect someone who is expecting professionalism to not post misleading numbers when the industry common sense standard is 5..

I lost all respect for you as soon as i seen that, you should know better... smoothing is always at 5.. always, it doesn't matter what the difference is between 5 and 3.. you use 5. I would expect a little more integrity from someone like you in here. You posted it on youtube man, do better.

Im not sure if the Pure 800 is the same I believe the 750 is a 62/58 but I could be wrong I have to look again. But the spool is very similar to the PS2 and in 5th gear reaches full boost by 3900rpm. My 0-60 times are a little faster then my PS2 as well and that was in the biggining so I should try to re run that with the newest revisions.

Az is suppose to finally start cooling down so that will help the data cause right now DA is still 4200-4500 ft with our ambient air still 100 degrees by 10 am smh.

The car will be completely different once it cools down for you. My old car has a 750 on it. Its in Wisconsin now and with their air it's absolutely nuts how fast it is especially on the top end in the cool weather.

It was a miss on my part because I didnt really care as again it wasnt even a tuning session or good weather and I ran out of meth so numbers arent solid anyways. I threw the car on the dyno during my lunch and made sure our issues were resolved.

If I was being shady I would of made sure to leave the smoothing value not visible or out of the frame but its right there for everyone to see so Im not being shady at all. I made a video showing the progress and You want to say you lost all respect for me and thats fine I could care less cause I wasnt trying to be milicious at all.

Nice result and thanks for sharing! Is there a mod list for your car?

Jealous you can run that much boost. I’m stuck at 25psi until MHD has time to help me out. The e series n55 DCT cars are stuck unfortunately. Anytime I go past 600whp I get cylinder 4, 5, or 6 misfire even though my logs are beautiful.

The Dyno and logs are just tools to show the car’s performance. Dragy times would be another one.

My turbo does spool slower than when I had the ps2, if I am bogging the motor down, such as a Dyno pull or grabbing a log in 4th from 2,500. But if I am at at 4k, I’m spooled up just as fast as my PS2. My car is much much faster than my PS2, and my dragy times make that obvious.

Thanks again for posting, hoping I get to run that much boost someday!
