328i n26 Cali - -128C temp. and 0x1D2008, P0128
Hello.
I have an issue- firstly, I had a CEL, it was about temp. sensor (this sensor from California radiator). I have not replate the radiator yet, but this error appears rather rarely- I delete it with INPA. Next, here in Poland we have temperatures about 0 Celsius, which is about 32F. I noticed that oil temp. gauge is on 160F, even below this value despite riding for about 20-30mins. When I stopped, I check in hidden menu temperatures- coolant temp. -128C and oil about 50-60C. Next I check the car with INPA, fault codes: 0x1D2008 - thermostat jammed open- I was thinking why the thermostat is opened all the time and radiator fan is going with full power. Maybe ECU sees an error with temperature sensor and safe mode on? Not to overheat? Another fault code is: P0128 which I don't know what is it. I read about broken themostat, but why the temp would be -128C? And if it is broken coolant temp. sensor- which one is it? Sorry for my bad English. Looking for help. Greetings from Poland. |
