M4 Bumper and Fenders on F36 Fit
Would the OEM bumper and fenders off a M4 (2018) fit a F36 440i (2018)?
I am not looking for conversion kits, I specifically want the wider fenders to be able to fit a wider wheel for track use. I was recently in an accident and need to replace one bumper and fender anyway so I'm looking to see if this is an option. Yes, I know it won't be an M4 so please save those comments - only reason I want to do it is the accident and they need replacing anyway. |

You need wider wheel in rear more so than front anyway. Through I haven’t looked at the parts in detail, I would imagine some of the f8x internal parts would be needed as well, not just the exterior bumper. That really takes you down the rabbit hole as the front wheel covering is vented with piping behind the fender going out the vents. Besides cosmetics, all kind of things to think about. Just not worth it, besides the unequal front and rear proportions. |
