PPF on Z4 G29 center console?

I can no longer stand the micro scratches on this part. Curious if anyone has had it polished and PPF:ed? I would have my detailer do it. Wondering what it would look like and if the edges would be visible (major OCD trigger).

If wrapped correctly with oversize PPF sheet (not with pre-cut), the edges won't be visible, imho. At least that how I do small stuff (bumper fangs and similar) or does the PPF installer I use for large items like bumper covers and body panels.
