M3 sway bars installed

First of all, I'd like to thank Harold of HP Autowerks (http://www.hpautowerks.com/) and Vincent and Sean at EuroRev (http://www.eurorev.com/).

When no one else had the M3 sways since they were in back order, Harold got me the sways last Friday, which I got Saturday. I just had them installed by EuroRev. Sean was very professional and friendly. Vincent, the main guy at EuroRev, gave me a great pricing of the installation.

Sean knew exactly what to do with the installation, so it went very smoothly. I was out from the shop in no time.

I definitely feel the flatter-ness when I corner now. The tiny and thin rear sways definitely needs to be replaced. The rear one is now 23 mm, compared to low 10s of the original one.

The front one was about the same size, or at least it seems that way. However, the overall shape was a bit different, comparing my original one and M3 one.

The parts were about $430 shipped (tax since I am in Cali), and $120 for the sway installation. For $550 total money spent, I think this is such a great suspension upgrade for those that are tight in budget.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your great information and knowledge. I read and did much research before I dove into this mod, and I think I made a right choice.

I know, right? I was going to do it myself when I was told by others that it'd cost me about $300-$400. I am so glad that EuroRev did such a great job with great price.

Hi seungykim, congrats on the install. I am interested in knowing a few things:

1) is this the ONLY mod you have done to the ZSP suspension?
2) if so, how did this mod affect the understeer, driving feel? I think more than a few of us would like a detailed description of how the car performs and feels regarding:
- performance into the corner (turn in - is it crisper?)
- performance in the corner (does the car feel more balanced and is there lots less understeer?)
- exit (do you have more traction accellerating out of the corner?)
- what about ride quality on flat road, and when going over pot holes or bumps?
- how does it perform on bumpy roads IN a corner? More traction?
- general confidence boost on the handling?

Thanks a lot.

I have a E90 ZSP and am interested in just adding the M3 Sway bars... would like to know what kind of difference they make in handling.
