Sirius Subscription
I know this has probably been answered before but i did a quick searche and couldn't find an answer. I know it is common sense to get the Sirius factory installed if you want it but I have one question. If you have an e90 with Sat Prep and get the dealer to install Sirius do you still get the year free subscription?

No. I was told that if it is not installed from the factory, subscription would have to be paid separately. Then again, I never questioned this as I did not purchase the sat radio package, so I'm not sure if the guy was full of it or not...

Now my salesman told me you still get the year free. I'm having mine installed tomorrow so i'll let you know more then. My old car had sirius that I turned in for my e90. That car is still activated because I was waiting to see if he was right after I got the car back. If not all I'll have to do is change over the receivers on my account. If it doesn't come pre-activated for the year, getting it activated takes maybe 10 mins max.

Just got my car back from the install and I didn't get the year free subscription. I guess this could be different from dealership to dealership.
