MP3 Options not stored when shutting off car
I have a 2006 323i without iDrive. Playing an MP3 CD works great, but I have noticed a annoying issue. I like to set the display up to show the track title and artist (by pushing List, then Track), also set it to random play. Now every time I switch off the car and restart it I need to re-set up the radio. Am I suck doing this from now on, or is there some fix available?
I tried searching, but couldnt even begin to figure out what to search for... |

I believe every time you start the car, the radio goes to the default display for the audio source you were last on. No way to force it to remember a custom display setting.

It is extremely annoying that the CD player does not remember it was on shuffle mode. I have never seen a deck that would revert back to default display and playback modes every time it powered on. Seriously BMW, you think of every other minor detail but forget about this? Why isn't there a software update for this yet?
