So the annual CCA raffle is coming up, and I was wondering what cars people would get if the won.

Grand Prize gets any car you want up to $102,100

and

First Prize gets any car you want up to $66,650

What would you choose for either prize?

The description of the raffle says you can choose any car for that price. So that makes me believe that it doesn't have to be a BMW.

Does that even change things though? I think for those prices Bimmers would still be my choice.

I think the first drawing is tomorrow.

Main prize ($42,000) - 135i
1st prize ($66,650) - E90 M3
Grand prize ($102,100) - E90/92 M3 fully loaded (except PDC) and hopefully spend the rest on BMW performance parts, or get a car that I knew I could sell and get a M3 with the proceeds.

I believe the first drawing is Wed 9/30/09, and they continue on 10/1/09 and 10/2/09. They have one Grand prize, one 1st prize, four Main prizes and one partial prize.

You have to be a BMW CCA member, but registration ended 9/14/09 with 32,058 tickets bought by 9577 members according to BMWCCA. That means there is roughly a 1/4580 chance of winning a prize per ticket bought.

But that ticket won’t be the only winner. The First Prize is your choice of any BMW up to a total MSRP of $66,650. Then, depending on the number of tickets sold, there will be several Main Prizes—any BMW up to an MSRP of $42,000.
