If I get 19's do I need to drop the 335i
Dont really wanna drop the ride since it's a lease, will 19's look good on the ride since I already have the M package sport drop package?
Can anybody post pics of 19's without a drop? If I need to drop, what and how many inches do I need? Thanks guys |

With m-sport, you should be okay. But if you want it to look really good, get some coilovers. Springs alone won't give much drop over m-sport.

IMHO it is a vehicle code violation to put 19s on without dropping the car.

e92 a drop is a must if you have 19s. Don't matter if you have msport suspension or not. that's that. e90 you can get away with it

Look at the pics in my sig for 19s without a drop. Sure, it would look better with a drop, but you are fine without one.

Im gonna have to agree, I promise you every time you look at your e92 with 19s and no drop your gonna wish you dropped it. Coil overs would obviously solve your problem but springs are a lot cheaper (since its a lease) and the eibach pro or street kit will definitely give you a noticeable drop. >300 springs + 300 install and 300 eventual uninstall = >1k and the look you need.

I went a long time before lowering my car with the bmw perf. suspension. I was happy with it with 19's. BMW's..especially rwd sport pkg. equipped cars are lower than most to begin with. If you dont want to mess around with it I honestly think you'll be happy with it.

i've been running a couple weeks with 19 bbs lms and they don't look that bad. i thought i'd never put rims on without a drop no matter what size but the lms just look so sexy. i just had to rock em.
can't wait for my suspension to come in to slam my car though.

Some of these cars look absolutely silly slammed to the ground. Sure, your car club buddies might like it but take a good look for yourself and decide if it is necessary. I just put my 19" 230 wheels on yesterday and have done no suspension work. I am completely happy with it.

I had the 230s 19 then switched to the performance style 269s 19s. Some will argue that I need a drop, but I really like how my car sits with the Msprt. And, I don't have to start worrying about rubbing issues or worrying about every little bump/steep driveway that I come across.
