Koni yellows.
Ive been looking at suspension a lot lately and cant seem to decide weather to get koni yellows or coilovers. I know they will both be rough (which i dont really mind) but how bad are the koni's and is it a really drastic change? Also, i can only find koni yellows at Horsepowerfreaks.com is there anyone else who sells them cheaper?
And im also worried about how long they will last, any information would be helpful. Thanks |

well since koni doesn't make coilovers for our car... but it seems like you want them anyways, why not get the package that HP sells?

Koni yellows are great shocks, they come with adjustable dampening so you can set it to how you want the car to ride, and if your happy with a non adjustable height with springs, like Eibach Pro Kit, it will dramatically improve your cars ride and response.
Ill drop you a PM to see if I can help out on the price |

KONIs are adjustable, which means that you can influence the behavior of the car to meet your preferences (ride comfort, handling balance, etc.). It also means that wear can be compensated. (However, you will probably never need it.) They are designed for a specific car or even special driving conditions. A KONI is not a simple copy of the original but a tailor made design to get the best handling and ride characteristics from the vehicle.
However, you can't compare a shock upgrade to a coilover system. A coilover suspension basically gives you a matched lowering spring and shock absorber combination with the added benefit of adjustable ride height and spring rates through a movable spring perch or perches. Coilovers are to your car's advantage by reducing unsprung mass, increasing suspension travel, and allowing the car to be corner balanced. If your on a budget, I would recommend that you check out the ST V1 Coilovers made by KW Suspension. I'll shoot you over a PM with more details! - Alan |

+1 to buying them through Craven. I would suggest that to anyone.
On the koni Yellow part... I have them with eibach pros. the ride is not harsh at all. it is actually a lot smoother and predictable. even on highways, the car rides smoother. handling drastically improved. I am able to take turns 10-20 mph faster than before (ports). I absolutely suggest it. I made a post a while back with a review of the eibachs/konis.... check it out.
