wow! that new sport package with aerodynamic kit and double spoke M wheels for the 550i looks awesome I see they're incorporating the US mandate side markers in the fender ala E92 now....

So, they officially mention the 535i... We all knew it was coming, but it was a bit hush-hush there for a while. I know what my next car is gonna be.

I agree, also the 535i badging is so storied in BMW history (goes all the way back to the E28), sort of like the 325 badging (which goes all the way back to the E30).

Historically, the M's always stayed the same, even after a model refresh... IE, the E46 M3 was based off the first gen E46, not the restyled second gen.

I doubt it. The E60 M5 has model specific front and rear bumpers as it is and most of the update seem to center around those pieces. There might be detail changes e.g. lights, interior trim etc at most.

I would much rather have that than the huge amber reflectors in the E90. Its very easy to cover up the amber reflector... I have my space gray painted reflectors ready to go.... Just need the E92 to put them on

The M5 bumper will probably also house the reflector instead of in the light housing.

By the way... I absolutely LOVE those rims on the 550i shown on the page. I wish they were available in E92 offsets

Just wait for the inevitable replicas.....

Actually its promising that they are packaging the aerodynamic kit with the sport package as kind of a 'sport package plus' option. Hopefully this kind of policy will trickle down to the 3er in short time. There was a time when the sport package option for the E46 involved different front/rear aprons.

usually M-cars doesnt change, like most members stated here, cars with those prices and charecters dont need a facelift

but,,,,,, there were some spy pics in an old thread that also included the M5

anyway, IF there was a facelift to the M5, it would be super minor
