Three of my favorite German things.

Love it when they all converge in one place at the same time

I'm more partial to the 19% VAT

Actually, a small list:

-Rewe or most other German grocery stores because of the freshest products

-Autobahn when there are no Staus (traffic jams) or Baustellen (construction areas) or limited speed areas (there are more than you'd think)

-Volksfests and Starkbierfests -- they're everywhere and so much fun

-Some of the best and unique beer in the world

-Clean, fresh air

-Oktoberfest

-'Healthier' fast food chains

-Not as many homeless, drug addicts, or criminals

What I don't like:

-19% VAT

-Large semi trucks, everywhere slow the traffic down

-All retail stores close on Sunday

-Popular culture always seems to be 10-15 years behind the US
