Question Quick Q On 7 For All Mankind Jeans & Express...

why doesn't 7, tr, etc offer any length options on their jeans and just waist? im a 32w 30l.

all of 7s jeans have an inseam of like 33 & 34. i can't get the jeans tailored can i?

thoughts on express brand clothing (jeans)?

You can get always get them tailored. Its best to get them at nordstroms etc... they will tailor them for you and they always come out good. I like mine, they hold up well.

you can find an inseam and waist combo like that, but it's difficult. pass on the 7's imo. they're probably one of the worst jeans i've ever owned. they tear so easy, fade (in a bad way) and don't even look that nice. get quality denim like APCs or even nudies if you care about the quality of your jeans. but to answer your question, i guess you could get them altered

When I buy 7's, I just get their 30W 32L but the people at Nordstrom/Neiman Marcus always remind me that I can get them tailored. I actually have had really good experience with my 7's but really splurge on Diesel jeans. Just whatever you do... do not buy True Religion. Please.

I dont like 7s. Most brands are just a waist size and you are supposed to have them hemmed.

Express makes shit.

Short answer: When you are spending $200.00+ on a pair of jeans, the thought is that the buyer would actually prefer to spend an extra $10 (or free as mentioned above) to make them fit like a $200.00+ pair of jeans should.

Personally I love a good pair of jeans. Good denim lasts a long time and will mold to your shape, so it's one of the few things I'll spend lots of money on without feeling guilty, but here is some food for thought: I'm good friends with the owners of a denim company based out of LA. Pretty well known in the right circles I guess (they sell to Barney's/OakNYC/Blackbird, etc.). They use real vintage selvage Levi denim (from the 40s/50s) and hand-make all of their jeans in LA in low volume, paying real people real wages (IE the most expensive way possible) and they tell me that each pair only costs them ~$12USD to manufacture.

That's bad enough, but now think about 7/true religion/etc. who make hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pairs of jeans in 3rd world countries, by machine.... Mark-Up much?
