Qatar over the U.S for World Cup 2022, seriously??? F you FIFA!!!

Pretty disappointed that the U.S won't be hosting the WC in 2022. I know the USA isn't really a soccer oriented country, but this would've helped boost the sports fan base!!

the U.S. doesn't deserve the revenue from such an event...nobody cares about football here...

I just saw about that today. Qatar is actually a pretty nice country, well-developed infrastructure, etc, but seriously, over the US? WTF FIFA!?!!?

This is the first World Cup in the Middle East...they have the money to make it a great event..so im not hating...but i hope its not gonna be hot as hades..otherwise the games are gonna suffer

The US is a nation in decline. Qatar is up and coming. Why you would want to have the games in a has-been country? Maybe the POTUS should have lobbied for the games to be held in Chicago (or where was the location in the bid?). Perhaps he would have won that, where he failed miserably at securing the Summer Olympics over Brazil (I would much rather go to Brazil than Chicago).

I think all Americans will be abushed and killed in Qatar, stay away!!

Me and 3 other friends have 150 being deducted from our checks every 2 weeks for Brazil, so we'll be there no doubt if God permits!
