wanna have some fun with my newly bought Nikon D5000 , just planned to go to San Diego and LV as road trip. I see some members in e90post have some shots at some really nice places in LV and San Diego, any suggestion?

The Mojave Desert between LA and LV is gorgeous. Try the Joshua Tree National Monument near 29 Palms. Instead of going to San Diego, go up Hwy 1 from LA up to Big Sur. Fantastic scenery there.

Hoover Dam near Vegas. A short 20 minute drive.

Go late in the day for the best day light. Middle of the day is too harsh and glare-y.

Hwy 1 is the Pacific Hwy. Drive to the ocean and head north. The trip from LA to Big Sur is a whole day.

a american desert route is something i want to do before i die. i want to ride across the dust and the punisher sun, be there watching all that spaniards names everywhere , remembering we found that lands, get shooted by a sheriff, fuck a redneck bitch on doggystyle postion with the cowboys boots and hat on (both of us) while screaming "yaaaaaaaaaahooooooooo"

Did you know that San Diego, as a franciscan missionery he was, travel a lot too?

And learn a little history, your facts on colonization are a bit askew.
