Rubbing Passenger side Oil Cooler

I recently changed my tires from 225/35/19 to 235/35/19, and i'm getting rubbing on the passenger side wheel well where the oil cooler trim is.

The wheels i'm running are 19x8.5, and i know this is a pretty common tire and wheel combo.

Anybody have this issue?

I have a 2008 E92 XI with m sport.

No way you should be rubbing on the inside. Did you make sure that's where your rubbing at?

I have the exact same setup, except my offset is different. I've never had an issue with rubbing, especially not where the oil cooler trim is.

hmm... i find it strange too... I've been reading about the m Tech bumper having a different wheel liner, my car came with it on, and i don't know if it was an aftermarket bumper or not. Could somebody with a m tech bumper post a pic of their wheel liner?

My driver side is tight, but the extra trim on the passenger side cause it to rub. If i take the panel off it just barely clears.

I'm getting my kw's installed this week, and i fear that it'll be even worse after that.

Same rubbing here, only at left turn just before full lock. 235/35/19 - 35 and lowered on coilovers with modest drop. 2011 335 ix M Sport.

I had the same issue, rubbing the oiler cooler vent and also the additional water cooler vent (PPK installed)

I took off the vents and ran like that since end of last summer. There was still slight rubbing during full lock and just before full lock.

Today I went to an indy shop and they took care of it. It was on my mind for quite some time and your thread made me decide to have it done today.

They used heat gun and then pushed the liner forward. Now the vents are put back on and there is no rubbing at all.

I am running 235/35/19, OEM wheels 8x19 ET 37 with 12mm spacers. Dropped a bit with Bmw Performance Suspension.

If you install KW's it will definitely be worse. But it is easy to take care of.
