A Dumb Question !
Currently my e93 328i is running on 17'' RFT some "Winter sport M3" tires, forgot the brand name.
Today in rain, on a ramp of 35mph speed, i was driving around 40+ and the car skidded but remained in control, may be due to DSC. Anyway, my question is, is it mainly because of the winter tires? I'm waiting for my new wheels to come and then will installe new tires. Thanks. |

Yes. While the Dunlop M3 tires are relatively good on both wet and dry roads, they are still winter tires and will not have the grip of a performance all-season, much less a summer tire.
So just take it easy (especially in warmer temps) until you get your summer tires mounted. Tom |
