What size M3 rims for an 08' 328i ?

Hey everyone.. I just purchased an 08' 328i convertible (alpine white w/ coral red interior). I totally love everything about this car but as most of you know, the upgrades must come =)
I'm looking to get M3 rims for my car and was wondering what the best size would be to keep the comfort and handling to as close to factory ride as possible. Any suggestions ?? Thank you in advance !

OEM M3 Wheels.. probably staying at 18" since I live in NYC and the pot holes are unforgiving here =(
