Not sure about the front because of the plastic fenders I would probably do 9.5 et 30-33 in the front with a 235/35/19 and 9.5 et22 in the rear with a 265/30/19. The rear shouldn't rub with the camber you have.

I'll be mounting 18x9.5 ET 22 squared with 255/35/18 squared Yokohama Neova AD08 next week (these tires run very wide). I'll let you know how it goes.

FYI though, I have 18x8.5 ET30 with 245/40/18 conti DWS in front right now with -2.8 camber and it rubs when the wheels are turned while reversing. This shows the tire profile is definitely too tall. With 18x9.5 et22, I doubt it'll work.

At the minimum you'll need the camber plates you sold to me () and rolled rear fenders.

Garage List
2011 BMW 335i  [9.44]
I'm going to say no based off of this.

My setup is a 9" wide tire at 32mm offset with hankook rs3 255/35/18 on -1.1 degres of camber.

Per tirerack calculation, your setup is

4mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 16mm

Currently I can't even fit my pinky finger in the gap between the top of the fender and the wheel. An extra 16mm will most def not fit.

If you run some extreme camber and perhaps have the car sit a little higher, then perhaps. I'd say slim chance even with that.

But with 235/35/19 tyres. Not much room left.

235 is going to be super stretched on a 9.5" wheel.

Ok, dude. What do I know? I only tried 245 with similar tires and immediately took them off... The sidewalls of near r-comps are too stiff to be properly "stretched".

what do you know? 235mm translates to 9.25 inches, .25 inches split in to converted to mm is 3mm per side not covered, that is not a "super stretch" . rs3 tires also run wide, and it may even cover that extra 3mm.

thanks tho

Nice math

That is what I thought too. In practice it didn't work out. The tires I used had a 9.8" section width (star specs 245/40) v. the 9.5" for your 235 RS-3s. The result was the rim protector pulled away from the rim by about .5". It is the rigidity and square nature of the tires that doesn't allow them to be "stretched".

I really do hope it works out for you. But, I'm skeptical. Be sure to post pics.

I stand corrected. They look good. My experienced dictated otherwise, but I guess the RS3's can handle it. That must be one meaty f'in tire, lol. Proof that you can't go by what Tire Rack has on their "specs"!

Yeah, that is closer to how my tires looked. Too stretched for any track days/autocrosses. My rim protruded a little more, too.

go down a size for the rear -
rs3 very meaty.

for the front even with the 235/40
u'll rub if ur low enough.
u'll need to knock out the notch
and pull more camber or camber plate.

Just fit 18x9.5 ET 22 in front with 255/35/18 Yokohama Neova AD08 tires (Basically 265)

No fender modification, -2.8 camber.

No rubbing for front.

Rear is different story.. my fenders are rolled and slightly pulled and it rubs with the same set up as fronts (got squared set up)

I'll be raising height and changing negative camber to -2.5 from -2.0
