I just put Csl replica wheels on my e90 they are 18 inch and they look awesome, alittle clumsy looking till I drop it, but my car and steering wheel wobbles alittle when I drive. This isn't normal I think so what should I do? I need to know what to do/get so I can stabilize my drive, help me out please! Ima post up some pictures

I got mine installed at a tire place so I think all that should be included in the installation right ?

Definitely make sure the wheels are balanced correctly. Chck the tire pressures.

Common problem with aftermarket wheels. Half @$$ tire shops usually balance the tires the quickest way possible which is putting a centering cone on the outside of the wheel to center it on the balancer. Many aftermarket wheels machine the inside of the wheel but not the outside so the wheel is balanced without being centered on the machine.

Yeah I just got them rebalanced and it stopped shaking , but I guess since the wheels are 18 it doesn't ride as smooth if you get what I mean? I think I have to get new springs or something to work them out

Yeah man I know what you mean, the machine they use to balance my tires is an old fashion one and they are supposedly getting a new machine by next week, they told me they'd rebalance them no charge when they get it so I hope that evens put the ride

The Hunter road force machine usually solves the problem with the right operator. My last set of wheels was balanced first with a regular high speed machine, wheels and tires had a vibration. I don't think I'd have any future wheels balanced by a non-road force machine again.

Road force balance for sure and check to see if you need hub rings.

I had the same issue, ICONZ wheels were installed but my car was wobbling and shaking all over the place over 60 mph. I then took it to a reputable shop that could balance the wheels properly now everything is fine. No shaking or any issues. Im sure all you need is a shop that can balance them properly. And just for laughs you wouldnt believe what I was charged. THe first place that mounted the tires included the balancing in the price of the tire, so I thought it was a steal. But obviously they didnt balance the wheels properly. So I called a place that I knew has the correct equipment and skill to balance them properly. On the phone they told me $15-$20 a wheel to balance. So I make an appointment and wait for the car while they do it. After its pulled in and put on a lift it takes a maximum of 25 minutes until the car is pulled back out and taken for a test ride. I get the bill And its $155. I couldnt believe it could cost that much for balancing. Lets just say I think they forgot the lubricant. LOL at least thats my opinion. But the car no longer shakes at all.

It seems I get my tires balanced every week

I have used road force as well


Good tech > Road force

Good tech and Road force > good tech


Good tech is key


Half the time , at 4-5 diff shops
They never even removed old weights

Lazy and ineffective in dynamic balancing

Find good tech preferably with road force

Lazy tech with road force is not as good as good tech without


One thing. Road force mentions are only device that can determine wheel error
Or tire error such as tire run out

I always go to discount tires for installing tires, balancing, and alignment and they never disappointed me.
