Hey everyone,
I've got a set winter tires that im trying to ship out to a buyer, what do you guys use, fedex or so ?

I have found that the cheapest way is USPS parcel post. Clean the tires well and use packing tape to attach a shipping label directly to the tread, they will ship it like that.

As a tip, hopefully this reaches Google some day so people don't get robbed... This is at UPS at least, if you don't box the rims/tires they will charge you extra because of its 'odd' size.

Single tires run between $20-$30 w/Fedex.

How much less is Parcel Post?

Heres a good pro way to do it freight if you got the resources.
Just take your skid, stack your wheels on, you can plastic wrap them first if you want. Then metal band them to the skid putting a piece of wood between the tire and band. The air force does it this way, only we put a slab of cardboard over the tire and two bands evenly spaced with a piece of 2x4 instead of one band with that huge chunk of wood in the pic.
