Question about Software update

I am bringing my car in for squeeky brakes on July 20th and hopefully if the parts are in Oil Cooler Retro-fit.

I wanted to have my i-drive software updates as well because it is very slow, freezes, random re-boot etc.

My question is (and I tried a quick search but came up with too many things and I don't really have too much time as I am working right now); which software should I ask for? Does the newer software come with POI search? I also heard that the newer software comes with cooler looking maps is this true? If so what should I complain about to make sure that they give me the right software..I definetly want POI search as that has been my biggest and only complaint with this car since I got it back in October.

are the colours better? I guess that is a matter of taste, in my opinion they contain to much blue making it difficult to differentiate water from land. On the other hand the route your following is clearer.

There really isnt any choosing what software you get... The software you get updated with is the newest software the dealer has.. Right now it is around 26.01.01 or something like that.
