Stock 335i calipers vs M-performance

What is the difference? The only thing I can see in the photos is the m-performance is painted and has an m logo painted on oh and the cross drilled rotors as oposed to the stock 335i are just silver and solid rotors.

Aha ok I see. So the stock front 335i calipers are the same? Will they fit this larger disc as well.

The calipers look the Same in the front.

Don't think they're the same. The standard front discs are 340mm in diameter, the M-sport brakes are 370mm. U can't fit the larger discs onto the standard calipers.

I never said anything about the discs ... he asked if the calipers are the same as OEM, and they are not. Front calipers are the same ... rears are different ... geeez .. guys read the responses before responding ...

That's wht I said, the front calipers are different. The M-Sport front calipers are bigger than the standard 335i front calipers, unless u're talking abt US-spec option 2NH for 328i, then u'll get the same calipers as the standard ones on the 335i but painted in blue. This is confirmed by E90Fleet.

No, don't think they'll fit. The front calipers on the M-perf is bigger than the standard caliper.

I thought so. They look so identical, but Im sure that was BMW's intention. I love to do them in red. I bet the grip is amazing.

OMG - M -Sport front front calipers are the same as 335i OEM, except they are painted blue, while the rears are different. M "Performace" calipers ARE different (front and rear) vs. OEM. M-Sport vs. M Performance brakes are different.

I think u misunderstood some of the facts. To put it simply, for EU/ROW spec, M-sport brakes (i.e. option code 2NH, factory-fitted option ONLY AVAILABLE for cars with M-sport package) are IDENTICAL to M-performance brakes (i.e. dealer fit item from M-performance range), WITH 2 EXCEPTIONS: 1.) colour coded in blue instead of a choice of 4 colours for the M-performance version, & 2.) plain rotors instead of the slotted & grooved discs that come with the M-performance version. The discs are interchangeable between the 2 types of brakes as they are of the same size & same caliper design. This applies to all models of the F30 range w/M-package, from the lowly 316d to 335i.
Now, for US/CDN-spec, there are 2 types of M-sport brakes for M-sport package equipped cars. For 335i M-sport, if option 2NH is specified, it will be the same as EU/ROW-spec (i.e. identical system to M-performance brakes but in blue & plain rotors). For 328i M-sport, option 2NH means brake system from standard 335i (but with EU/ROW pads), only difference is the calipers are in blue w/M logo instead of the unpainted silver. So in a nutshell, US/CDN 335i M-sport w/2NH, then similar to M-performance; for US/CDN 328i M-sport w/2NH, then similar to standard 335i but with EU/ROW pads.

Warranty will be intact as they're genuine BMW accessories. I'm not sure whether the warranty clauses in ur area are particular to who fits them, if it is then best to use the services of a BMW dealer.
