Anyone else on Parsifal?

Just checked and my 335i M Sport left yesterday on the Parsifal after 3 days at the port. After a quick stop tomorrow in Southampton, UK, it will arrive on the 27th in Baltimore! Anyone else make it onto Parsifal?!

Mine was in port two days ago and I was hoping it would be on the Parsifal, but it didn't make it on. Or at least the BMW automated call in system didn't update accordingly. Integrity and Tombarra are in port now, so I think I may be on one of them. Mine's also going to Baltimore.

Where did you buy from and what kind of 328i are you getting? I can look it up and let you know

I bought it through Pentagon Car Sales Kaiserslautern (military). It's a 2013 328i, alpine white, w/prem package, heated seats, walnut trim, & alarm. Should ultimately be delivered to BMW of Annapolis.

Since it is a Military order, I cant look that up snce it has a special designation. If you contact the dealer its being shipped to, they could tell you or just wait until tomorrow to see if you got on one the vessels today

No problem. Marinetraffic.com is awesome. I've been checking it non stop when I'm not busy to see if its still anchored in Southampton. Parsifal is supposed to undock sometime today and start its journey to Baltimore

Mine made it to the Port on Saturday but it didn't look like it made a ship yet

Maybe I should just stop obsessing? lol

Schedule to leave port 6/29 - I did some VIN searches on other similar numbers to mine, and it looks like they get entered into the shipping company's web site up to 4 days before the ship leaves port. I'm hoping this is the vessel I'm on!

Defnately dont stop obsessing! I didnt! I would check my car everyday in the system through each part of the process. Now I have Marine Traffic as a separate window so I can constantly look at where the boat is! lol

The poor people at the BMW call center are getting to know me pretty well with my daily calls since their system seems to have information a day ahead.

I've always just listened to the automated system's updates. Do you find you get more information if you talk to an actual person? Are they able to give you the ship's name it's going to be on?

In my experience they have the latest information. For example on Monday this is what each medium said:
Agent: Car had arrived at the dock on 6/15 and was awaiting a boat, status 193
Phone IVR: Car was in transit to port
Website: Production ends

So based on my VERY small sample size the agent is about 1 day ahead of the IVR.

As for if they can tell you the ship some give more information than others. For example one gave me my VIN while others said they couldn't see that. So it is possible that they can see the ship but are not supposed to give that out?

BMW's system doesn't reflect this at all, but Wallenius & Wilhelmsen's tracking system shows it having been loaded on yesterday prior to it's departure. Scheduled to arrive in NYC on July 5th, at which time I'm guessing it'll be trucked down to Annapolis!

That's strange it is being dropped of in NY and not Baltimore since you are in MD
