BMW Website Tracking
I called the 1800 number for order tracking today and the system says my 2014 F30 is in production and will be completed in two days time. However, entering my production number on the online "My BMW" page on bmwusa.com gives me an error message saying the number could not be found or is not in the system yet. Is this normal? In that case, any better way to track the car than just get in touch with my sales guy and ask for a VIR?

I had the same issue and had to have BMW fix the issue as they didn't have 2014's loaded up in the system according to their website IT department.

Your status on the bmw website is not timely. When my ED status changed to 'shipped', it was on the boat out of Bremerhaven for two days. I still think the status even today 5 months after delivery is finishing touches.
Get your VIN number and check WW site.
