What do you mean by "lease specials"? This is a new model so I doubt you can get Invoice + x deal on it at this point. F32 will probably sell very close to MSRP at least for the first few months.

Are they charging you list with a bad money factor? Would think it has a high residual with it being a new model. But being the retired auto dealer I am. I am sure they will grab a premium until the shine wears of the apple. With a good out side rate like Pen Fed 1.49 it would be cheaper to buy. Plus the 2-5-7k down you don't throw away.

There is also BMW driving events which give you $1,000 off. A dealership here is offering me $2,000 off for those driving events. Where there is a will there is a way

Nice. It's also fair to make some profit on a new model. Would think 3% off, not to include rebates would be a fair deal for everyone involved. I am sure I will get clubbed when the M4 comes out. I will probably have to pay $500 over invoice

Yea looks like they are trying to get you both ways. Fair to hit you on sale price NOT fair to club on rate also.

The reason I went with the 3 over waiting for the 4, was my dealer(who I have a good relationship with) said I would be paying 800+ for a 4 comparably equipped car to my 3 which Im paying 625 for. No money down at all. I couldent walk away from it. The sticker is right under 64k, and I think I got 2k or 2500 off. Im not gonna lie though the 4 looks sexy as hell, minus the crooked nike branding on the side.

Its also an M car, so maybe they don't do deals as much on those. At the end of the day you will be happy with the car either way, its an M4

Do not put any money down. If you have some cash you can put down seven extra security deposits (MSD) to get your MF rate down to .00078. This would cost you $4,550 up front that you would get back when you turn the car in. That would lower your payment to $579. |

I will be selling my kidney to pick up an M4 a year after or two after it's introduced. The brand new engine makes me a little nervous. The hpfp issues i had with my brand new 135i scarred me for life and left a bad taste in my motuh about ordering a car with a brand new powertrain.

I will give you an example. I had a sales Mgr that let a customer walk because he couldn't smack him on the rate. Customer was willing to pay full sticker. The Mgr walked right after the customer. I don't believe in charging over MSRP unless it a super rare car like A GT 500 or something that is very limited production. When the dealer has to win a lottery to get the unit. But if its a normal production car it BS.
Dealer does have the right to make money on new models, hell they will be giving them away in 18 months. But waiting a few months will save you thousands. I've never paid sticker for a car in my life until my wife say an FJ Cruiser and had to have it. It was the first one in the state of Florida. My buddy that owned the dealership felt so bad he mailed me a check a few months later. I guess that's honor amongst thieves. LOL |

Yeah, thats why I couldn't stay away, and also why I mentioned we have a good relationship. I was coming from a lease on an x5m, and was going to do the m3 before we worked up the numbers. He had this fully loaded '13 335 that had been sitting on the lot and he wanted to get rid of it. After I drove it I couldn't say no.
