Just checked Wallenius Wilhelmsen regarding the Fidelio and my car is listed as being on board. Ship departs tomorrow morning.

Anybody else on the voyage?

I'm SO hoping that I'm on the Fidelio as well. My car has been waiting at the port since 7/23, but when I called the 1800# today the status was still at "waiting for a shipping vessel with no information."

I only have the last 7 digits of my VIN as well, so I can't track on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site (I'm assuming you need the full VIN to track?). My CA is on vacation till end of the week so I guess I can't find out until then.

I'll help you out

Go to the russian vin decoder site (http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/) and on there you can put in the last 7 digits of the code. It will reveal your entire VIN there, then you can go to the W&W site to see if you made it on the ship!

She's supposed to be at Port Hueneme on the 22nd of August. Maybe before September.

Wow thanks SWMOChris, it worked! I never knew there was a vin decoder.

Unfortunately though no record of my car was found on W&W using the full VIN, and with the 1800# status still saying its waiting for a vessel when Fidelio left yesterday, I think I'm just not lucky enough to be on the ship. Guess it's the next ride :/. Sigh...

I'm on the FEDORA, now that I found out I can track it I don't think I'm going to do anything else all day. lol. Ships at N 51.373495°, E 2.843978° hauling @$$ at 14.5 knots! Should be in New York by 8/9, hopefully I can pick it from my dealer by 8/20.

It is very possible that your car was put on a non W&W ship as well, mine happened to be on a K-Line ship and those can't be tracked using that site. If your CA is out on vacation until later, you might try talking to a rep when you call BMWNA. They should be able to at least tell you if it made it on a ship or not, sometimes just the auto-response and the website are 1-2 days off...it's worth a shot anyway!

Update: I now found it on the Fidelio. Like you said, I think the system may have been a bit delayed, but now it's showing up as being on the Fidelio. Thanks so much for all your help with this! Now it's just waiting for it to arrive

According to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics schedule, Fidelio is scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on 8/24, tomorrow! Cars should be at local dealerships late next week (hopefully).

ETA for Port Hueneme is supposed to be about an hour and a half from now. The ship is still docked in San Diego!
