Lease. 60% residual for 12k miles. 58% for 15K

Hopefully improves by the time of delivery in October.

Also, VIR Says

Assigned to: W--35-17xxx, that means week 35 production?

I don't believe the Assigned to line on the VIR shows PW. Check with dealer they will have actual scheduled PW in DCS.

How long is lease term? Residual seems 2-3% low for 12K miles assuming 36 months.

You are right, I was told week 36 at the time of ordering. I am being too optimistic drawing conclusions from the VIR.

Unfortunately, that is the state of the residual. I hope it will improve, its very good for the 2013s. I think that is what you are referring to.

Residual % is usually set in stone (so they say), and the dealer is hopefully not going to mess with it.

Looking here from the owner of Bimmerfest for the MY2014 for July. I read somewhere that nothing changed this month

Sweet deal. Selling price before incentives looks to be at invoice, and you got the 1K incentive ... which was what, by the way? Just curious! New graduate?

Hopefully that residual DOES improve for you

Thanks!

Ultimate Drive Event credit by BMWNA. Never got New graduate credit, think it was not in place at the time of ordering my first BMW 3 years back.

Here is hoping RV improves

It definitely will come September, if not, definitely by October.

2011 328i  [0.00]
How much down/monthly payment? The lease on my 2011 328 was also set to be up in September (BTW, great color combo, I was deciding between yours and MG/Coral on my 328 but went with the MG/Coral as I think i would have turned the oyster black within a month!) but they got me out of my lease 3 months early with the pull ahead program and into a 2013 335i. Wondering if i could have gotten anywhere near the same deal if I had waited them out til September.

mid-late November is when the first real good financing/lease deals come for the MY.

Seems like an amazing deal. I almost ordered a similarly optioned car and can't understand how you arrived at uch a low MSRP. I just built the same car on BMW website and MSRP comes to 55,325.

Oyster black here for the last 35 months almost and going strong. My car is not heavily used, no pets or anything, and no eating in the car. Some denim dye but usually comes off with regular cleaning and maintenance, quite minimal care in fact.

You probably got a great deal on the 2013 due to the special offers. Pull ahead is nice, but I was not convinced that I want to do that. The newer car is usually always more expensive (monthly payment), and I want to try and use my full 36 month lease period just to keep things more streamlined and not pay acquisition fee sooner than the 3 year interval. That is just me though, I am sure I would jump on something else if I got a real good deal and the car i wanted.

You enjoy your car Any pictures in another thread?

Production started on my car ahead of schedule it seems. Estimated completion date is September 04. This is sooner than I had thought, by what looks like 1 week. Was scheduled for Week 36, it will complete in the middle of week 36.

Hoping to see it in person sometime in October now

Exciting, and its like deja vu calling the 1800 number to check status!

Great Looking car!
Looking at your deal, you did not get the Loyalty credit? What about the turn-key incentive?

This is on schedule. BMW quotes PW as when car goes into production. Production is 2-3 days.

It seems like it depends on a car's configuration. Mine started yesterday with a completion day of September 6th. Thus, it should be in production for 8 business days.

Production status (150) means order is locked and BMW is scheduling parts for car assembly. "production" begins when car enters body shop and from body shop to completion (assuming quality inspection goes well) is 3 days average.

My car was in a body shop on Wednesday morning, I'll check on Monday with my SA to see where it's and let you know. 800 number and web are no help with these details, unfortunately.

If you car was in body shop (151), chances are its completed (155) or 160 to 193.

Check this site with good info on tracking your production.

Your CA is your best bet to give you near real time data. BMWUSA lags behind and they lack the details.
