18" wheels on e91 xi?

I am picking up a 328 xi wagon in a little over a week. It's coming with style 159 wheels as part of the sport package. I think the 159's are a close match with wheels I have seen on a Toyota Camry. Consequently, I'm looking for something more aesthetically pleasing. 18" style 195 and 196 wheels are the strong contenders right now, but I also like the style 197 and 189 on the new coupes. Since it's an xi, I can't do wider than 8" front and 8.5" rear.

What I'm wondering is, will I regret the decision to move to 18" on the wagon? If not, which wheels would you go with?

On the E91 you can run larger than 8" and 8.5." You can run a staggered set up with 8.5 in the front, and 9.5 in the rear even.

You won't regret going to 18's, as 18's are very common these days, and have no large drawbacks over other sizes.

Our 18" VB3's are always a good choice!

I took the plunge and ordered 193M's. It's gonna take two weeks for them to get here. It also means that I'm going to keep the 17's the car comes with, because if I ding one of the 18's, I don't want to wait two weeks before I can drive the car again.

I liked the VB-3's, but was concerned that X-drive couldn't handle the 8.5" width on the fronts. I wish more of the reps came in 18x8 and 18x8.5 sizes.
