A little advice and help please

Hi all,

Recently got my split centre armrest. Was fitting it today but I managed to loose the little small cog that I assume helps to keep the armrest up.

Does anyone know a part number for it, or how to remove the rear + middle centre console to see if I can find it down below, where I am assuming it has dropped down to.

Thanks in advance.

I have a rough idea what you mean Alex, but it is basically the second picture on the link below, with the two push rods and spring, theres that small black round gear/cog, that is what I need. Don't really want to end up buying a new split armrest just to get the gear/cog.

So if anyone has any ideas, I would be greatful, or a spare gear/cog lying around in the off chance.

I don't have one in mine buddy..

Didn't have one in my basic one nor did I in my new split rest!

I assume it regulates the rise of the spring?

I can't say I miss it in mine haha I don't know any better!

Yeah basically it just slows down the rising of the armrest as far as I am aware, but mine has slipped into the depths of my centre console :S. Going to pop down the dealers tomorrow and see if they have one, without getting too conned by their extortionate prices!
