What is everyone paying for their 4 series?
As the 4 series slowly makes it way to the market.
I am wondering if and how much are people are getting them for under MSRP/ over invoice. Everyone I have talked to is paying MSRP ( subtracting 1K for the drivers experience thing), as its a brand new model and limited as this point of time which is common of course. Can anyone share their 4 series deals? |

put my order in 08/24/13 before it really hit the "public"
my reasoning behind this was of course supply & demand. only a select few knew about the 4 series coming out (obviously all bimmerpost members knew, but the majority of buyers aren't on here) i also knew that the ultimate driving event credit would expire 10/31 so i wanted to take advantage of it while it was still around; i felt that this was my best opportunity for a good deal as the holiday cash would probably not be 1k for the 4 series, i was guessing more of $500 since the car already has enough incentive to sell. factor in that there will be a flood of new orders which will back up production and delay the car getting here... plus whatever floor models are available will be insanely price gouged to whoever the highest bidder is. that being said, i shopped around to 4 different dealers and was able to get the following: 2014 428i xDrive mineral grey exterior coral red leather interior sport line cold weather pkg drive assistance pkg anti-theft alarm navigation system msrp $51,725 ultimate driving event credit: -$1,000 discounted to: $47,724 (i believe this was the number) 10k miles yr / 36 months nyc sales tax 8.875% (rolled into payments) resid: 63% $577 a month (tax rolled in) $0 down other than cash due on delivery: $678.66 (first month payment + fees) if it wasn't the first model year and if i had loyalty i'm sure it would have been lower. next time around though. hope this helps someone |

I found dealers were more willing to negotiate on 428's as opposed to 435's because there are more allocations for them.
That being said, best deal I found in my area was 1k over invoice for a 435. Adding in 1k off for the USAA military discount, final price was exactly invoice. I didn't have loyalty or any other discounts to apply, and the UDE discount is not compatible with the USAA discount. |

WOw..you were able to get 1,000 USSD over invoice before your military discount?
I was not expecting people to be getting that good of a deal. I hope more people chime in as I'm picking up my 435 this week as it is at the VDC right now. |

I saw these guys on swapalease.com - http://www.bestbuyleasing.com/ - they're in NY I believe. They quoted me a much better price than the local dealerships, but I never got the cap cost of the car, just the drive off and monthly. It doesn't hurt to give them a try since they're in your area. If I was closer and didn't have to pay $1,000 to transfer the car from NY I probably would have placed an order through them, provided there are no surprises in their price quote. |

Here is where I got them to today.
435i M Sport $60,375 MSRP. Selling price of $58,500 + $500 owner loyalty. .00125 Money factory 62% Residual. I put in the #'s here. http://www.th**********calculator.com/ Then brought that with me and said, here is what I want. I tried for $500 less but lowest I got them was $1875 off which doesnt seem all that bad. Not sure how you guys can get $1k over invoice with 6% sales tax the payment should be around $730/month for 12k miles, 36 month lease |

MSRP of $60,375 Selling price of $56,464, then I have $500 loyalty credit. $1k above invoice roughly. Thats $2k less then what local dealer is giving me as far as the price. Lowest I got them to was $58,500 Total monthly price $688 for 12k miles. Fees due at signing are $725 assignment fee, $299 dealer doc fee, and first months payment. Are these pretty much normal? I know the dealer doc fee can range. Last edited by becker800; 10-14-2013 at 03:43 PM.. |

I was able to negotiate $2800 off of a MSRP of $59,500 without any incentives, for a 435i. No other dealers in the area would match the offer.

I just got a 435i on the ground from BMW of Bakersfield. $1,200 over invoice. I could have gotten an ordered car for a better price over invoice, but just didn't want to wait for 2 months.
This car is freakin' sweet Bakersfield was willing to do $1,000 over invoice for an ordered car when I asked, you guys can try Aaron or Nick from the internet department and say Chris referred you guys there. |

I think the actual dealer Bestbuyleasing is getting the car from is NJ though. So I told my local dealer about the $56,464 price and they said they would match. Told me to come sign the papers today, I get there and they said lowest they will do is $2,000 ABOVE that price...after already agreeing to it over the phone! This is Faulkner in lancaster, PA. It was pretty hysterical, the MSRP is $60,375 and the manager tried telling me the invoice was $57,500. Oh this is AFTER the sales guy told me it was $55,949.... Thanks to that manager for having me drive there after I told them the exact price and they said they would match it.... Needless to say, I sent my paperwork into BBL to get my 435i M-sport ordered. CANT WAIT! Last edited by becker800; 10-16-2013 at 08:33 PM.. |
