Repair Hold at Oxnard
My 335i convertible went on a repair hold at Oxnard Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) and it took nine (9!) days from start to completion of the work order for whatever had to be repaired. Dealer says that the Oxnard VPC won't even tell them the nature of the damage. I plan to go over my Bimmer with an exceptionally fine-tooth comb before accepting it but---does anyone have an idea how I might find out what took 9 days to deal with? Delivery to my dealer scheduled for 10/29.

Arrival ar Oxnard
Offloaded on 10/11/13. Work order commenced on 10/15 and completed 10/24. Dealer sent me a copy of the answer to their inquiry. No indication of what the issue might have been. In truth, I figure it was a cosmetic thing, dent or scratch in transit. Main concern is paint match. Had a 5 series in Germany back when and it got dinged. Lousy match on the similar dark metallic blue paint.
