I wonder what these F30 drivers think when they see a real F80 pull up next to them? Who are they trying to fool?

In NYC I already spotted a G20 (330i) with a fake M3 badge. Sorry lads, your car will never drive like a real M no matter what you do to it.

Most drivers tend to look at my front fender to see that it is a real "M4" and then they look at me to see whose driving it

Actually they didn't put that emblem on there - they just removed the "50i" part - since it is an M850i.

Yes, I know, but just as egregious imo. Clearly not an "M8" and that spec m850i is a great looking car and capable in its own right.

Don't understand the "flex" of trying to trick people into thinking your $120k car is $160k. Just debadge the whole thing...

And yet it still will always drive like a basic F30. You can badge or mod it however you want but it won't ever drive like true M car.

I saw a base E46 wagon with angel eyes and a big yellow ///M logo sticker on the trunk. First time seeing that style of a fake badging. I guess they're evolving.

I think it’s a little funny if I see M badges on non-BMW cars or AMG badges on non-Mercedes cars because I think the driver is joking. It’s a different story if I see an AMG badge on a C300 or an M badge on a 328...
