18" or 19" on stock sport suspension?

Hi,

I will be getting my car in the next week or so and I am looking for aftermarket wheels with all-seasons tires. I am asking for opinions on whether I should go with 18" or 19" wheels for an e93 with sport package. I have no plans on lowering it.

So will the 19" look okay without a drop or should I stick with 18"?

Also, what tire size and offset should I get so that there will be no rubbing?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions and sorry I'm such a noob.

I would go with 19s, we sell 19s 75% of the time to customers, with an occasional 18" wheel here and there.

With sport suspension, you should be good to go.

19's without a doubt. Why all-seasons?

All seasons because I won't be driving the car in the wintertime when there's snow. I have an old car for that. however I want to drive it when it's low temps but dry and I read that summer tires are not adapted for the cold weather. are these good reasons to go with all seasons?

With the 19", how higher would the car sit compared to the 18"?

Please also help me on the tires size!

I admit I know nothing about cars but can follow directions very well.

Thanks

19's will fill your wheelwell better than 18's will. You should have no problem running 19's on stock sport suspension, many of us do(myself included). I also have no intention of lowering it any further.

Im currently running 235/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear. I had to roll the fenders in the rear so I wouldnt rub but for you I would suggest going with 265/30/19 so you dont have to worry about that.

Im using General Exclaim UHP all seasons and while they are not as sticky as summer specific tires, they are great in any weather. They attack heavy rain with ease, and so far in the temps in the low 40's they have been very reliable. Being in NJ, I get pretty much the same weather patterns as you down in DC. I do plan on driving my car throughout the winter though and these tires are the only tires in the performance category also M+S rated.

YMMV but its a starting point. Good luck!

Thank you for the answers! I'm leaning more towards the 19".

Does anyone happen to have pictures of e93 or e92 with 19" wheels and stock suspension?

What offsets should I look into? (I have no idea what these are!)

Thanks for any help!
