ronanz's : MPPK /// Dinan S2 /// ENZO S1 Dyno Baselines w/ Video

DYNO: Mainline AWD1800

Only bolt-ons are ER Charge Pipe and Dinan CAI (don't know if you can really count the CAI)...these are baselines prior to ENZO's FBO S2 Tune.

BIG thanks to Chris and Enzo @ ENZO Performance !!

1st Log: MPPK

2nd Log: Dinan S2

3rd Log: ENZO S1

What kind of Dyno do they use? I just got my baseline done on a mustang Dyno and I'm at 260wtq and 245whp. So I guess it's about right.

Jb4 map one seems to be better than the dinnen. 299wtq and 260whp

It's not as important to look at what kind of initial numbers he got compared to other dynos, one needs to see what the amount of change (delta) is between the different mods /runs.

ronanz - I'm a little mixed up on the initial run chart. Is that a stock car or a car that has the MPPK already in it ? (chart says stock, but your post says MPPK) Thanks for posting the data

No, it's MPPK. Can't obviously baseline Stock since MPPK is already loaded...never Dyno'd prior to MPPK

These dyno charts are completely bogus. Anyone can feel free to search the last time I called out this tuner for the same shit. The curves are fabricated. Anyone who knows what they are looking at will notice how it's simply not possible for a HP and TQ curve to look the way they do at a few points. Also, look where the graphs cross...

Cool, I know you didn't create the chart and place the word STOCK there, just making sure what I was looking at. I've done a stock baseline vs a MPPK one, so I can do a little guesstimation where you might have shown without the MPPK. Thanks for the clarification.

So which dyno would give close to accurate data on how much power the car is getting to the wheels?

Doesn't matter how much power it makes.

It's still a lawnmow--err. Honda.

What's going on with the Enzo dyno after 6730 rpm? Rpm's are descending but continue on to make peak torque...never seen that before. Horsepower curve looks really nice tho

First pull the engine from the car and run it on an engine dyno to see how much power it actually makes on the stand. Then reinstall in the vehicle and pick your favorite chassis dyno and re-measure the power at the wheels. Now you have a better idea at how much actual drivetrain loss your car has than most people who are basically guessing / choosing a DTL factor to do their math with.

I'm gonna get dd1981 to come out and use the mustang dyno at this Indy tuner shop I've been to a few times. Though I think I've seen others confirm the Enzo dyno claims already at other shops. And having driven the tuned car, seen JB4 logs, etc I have no reason to doubt Enzo's claims. The car is a rocket and pulls so hard all the way to redline.

You are correct CIWS, the delta is what you're after Our Mainline does read very low. Those runs are not altered in any way.

Sorry for the "Stock" label mixup, first run is indeed an MPPK.

Thanks again ronanz for posting.
