Pretty sure that goes to your intake airbox below where your hand is in the picture.

What is at the connected end? Look that up at realoem.com That's where I'd start.
Clean your engine too. |

quoted from reddit
"what I believe is the very thin PCV hose (looks exactly like this one) that goes from the PCV to the airbox, causing the nipple on the airbox to break right off. From my understanding, this hose just directs vapors to a hydrocarbon filter in the airbox, but I'm not 100% sure. I left the hose venting to the atmosphere and the car has been driving normally since" who knows when the mechanic broke this hose.....smh also shocked the car isn't throwing codes. |

For the n26, this is a vent tube that goes to the air intake box to comply with sulev. For the n20 the pcv valve vents to atmosphere with a one way valve on the cap. Technically you could put the n26 cap on top and call it a day.
It won’t throw a code or stumble if it’s not connected to the air box, as that hose is connected to the air box before the air filter, to be sucked into the air filter and measured by the mass air flow sensor. So if the air isn’t there it’s not measured and calculated for.
