How's the ride on the lowered suspension? I just picked up a Performance Edition myself and the 20's are pretty bad on potholes.

Trust my 50,000 Kms advice: DITCH THEM!!! You will get top dollar on them, now not later.. Get Rays. Or HRE's/BBS if you want the renamed-Ray's. After unbending 3-4 405M wheels, then two of the 361 20" which replaced the 405M, I learned my 6,000$ lesson (depreciation on the sold 405M and unsold 361). I was fooled into thinking it could be the alignment, bad bushings, struts, un-balanced wheels, brake issues.. And, each winter check revealed an invisible out of true, bent 20". Then my summertime checks. On and off, on and off... Plus the Pirellis are horrific, and Michelin 225/255 very hard to find. Oh and the rears wear the outside x2 x3 faster unless getting a -1.3 deg camber and matching toe. Non stop headache, which never occurred with the winter tire setup.

Provided advice to BMW Canada to stop selling these silly things here- after all, they cost 5,000+ tx, whereas Ray's are 6,000$ and light years lighter and stronger, wider and better.

So, my 19" project, with month of research and the forum assistance, got me these 235 / 275. Saved 26 lbs vs your set, and 43 vs the 361 set. Gained 0.3s.. No longer cringing when going over 0.5" ground clearance, and no more teeth shaking. Comfort. Speed. Traction. At last.

The angle and the wheel stance definitely makes the car look like it has wider fenders. Sick build

Gorgeous ride, congrats.

Any scraping issues with the H&R springs and M Sport front lip? I'm nervous about lowering mine as I scrape some on just the M Sport suspension.

This.. I paid full whack £3105 for mine exactly 1 year ago, within a day of fitting I was back at the dealer for something else when the mechanic pointed out the front right wheel already had a buckle/flat spot in it.. I hadn't even driven it more than a mile since picking it up

Funnily enough I've needed new anti-links on both sides of the front end. I still get sawtoothing on the wheels to with the rear edge's wearing super quick.

Unfortunately I had one repaired due to minor damage (the paint rather the dc) and the rest are either corroding or have stone chips, so I doubt I could ever make a warranty claim on all 4 to get a fresh pair to flog.

Best solution for wheels: 19 " light and strong aftermarket and a set of non run flat tyres! 👍
