MHD alone with PS2

Has anyone tried running any of the MHD maps with a pure stage 2 upgrade? I'm not talking custom map and I realize that would allow for better tuning but since we see higher numbers with the same boost levels on stock vs PS2, I wondered how the regular MHD 2+ or even e85 maps felt with the turbo upgrade. Thanks all.

That will be good, I only bought the license for map stage0 for now. Someone will need to buy the other maps and try. Could you.

A custom map will always be faster but the aggressive maps available for stock turbo will still work to get you by.

IM going to try the BEF MHD and jb4 first then maybe I’ll grab one of the straight Mhd maps.

You'll also need to consider additional fueling when you max out your LPFP & HPFP....

Thanks, yep I've taken that into consideration. I don't plan on going over 18 at the most so unless my HPFP takes a crap, I should be okay!

Sorry, for clarification I am FBO with Pure Stage 2, stock fueling.

Also, for those interested I reached out to MHD and they told me they plan on creating a OTS map for upgraded turbo users. No idea when that will happen but at least it is in the works.

Where do i download the MHD OTS tune for PS2? I didn't see a specific one for the PS2 in the license store only the Stage 2 variants.

I don't think MHD has any stage 2H/Pure maps. IIRC BM3 only has them.

Regardless, the PS2 upgrade puts more power down without a specific map for it. I think with MHD you can only go custom after stage 2 unless they develop one.

I have MHD for my F30 335i and they have Pure Stage 2 maps. They are included when you buy the regular stage 2 map pack I believe.

I have. Have a look through my logs. Mine is PWG. Lots of over-boost in high rpm. I also have logs running factory map on PS2 - no over-boost problems with that.

MHD currently has OTS map for EWG PS2 only.

I was trying to run the OTS PS2 map but my HPFP couldnt keep up the rail pressure on stock fueling. Currently im on a custom map through MHD and holding 16psi to redline.

Initial plan was to run stock fueling but now im considering upgrading my HPFP and LPFP to run more boost

I believe it targets 18psi which would be great if my rail pressure could maintain it.
