Deciding A Colour Combo
Hi all, I'm currently in the process of ordering my BMW 440i xdrive LCI, and I'm just a little torn between which colour combos to go with. I've narrowed down my options to the following combos:
1. Mineral Grey w/Dakota red and brushed alum/black trim 2. Glacier Silver w/Dakota red and brushed alum/black trim 3. Glacier Silver w/Dakota black w/blue stitching and hex alum/blue trim Let me know what you think, thank you! |

It's tough I know. Ive changed my interior 4 times on my order via emailing my agent lol. The mineral gray on red looks slick IMO. That's what I'd go with out of your choices.
Good luck! |

I would definitely do the red interior...It is different...and I would choose whichever exterior color you see the least in your area...if you don't want to look like every other BMW in your area choose a color you like that you don't see everyday. Lately I have been drawn to Silvers though...so I think I would do Glacier Silver.

I've never liked red leather so i would go silver with black and hex.

The red is fantastic. Either Mineral grey or silver are good. I have mineral grey, so choice 1 would be my pick. Although my 1st choice would be mineral grey with saddle brown interior. All are great. I am just bored with black interiors.

I have a '14 glacier over red and I love the red everytime I get in the car. I didn't build the car but was lucky enough to find a CPO in Charleston SC. It even had the MP CF/Alcantara interior kit. Dont give another thought about black interior, everyone has it and it's boring.
I really like how the glacier paint showcases the body lines and muscularity of the car. Looks sick in the sun! Hard choice though because mineral over red is also pretty sweet, but glacier has my vote! |

I wasn't a fan of the red interior until I sat in one. My top choice was glacier silver/red, but my wife preferred estoril blue/saddle brown and my kids broke the tie for bluebrown. Can't go wrong with grey/red either.

Only problem i have with MG is that here in Canada it is impossible to keep a car moderately clean for 20 minutes after its been washed. Hence why I'm leaning towards the silver. For the interiors, I'm drawn to the hex alum with blue trim and stitching, ive never seen an interior like that before, was wondering if anyone had pics of it, if not red would be the colour to go with

If I were getting a 4er LCI right now, I'd go for the blue leather (whatever it's called). I really wish it was an option when I ordered my 3er LCI... I would have gotten it with Melbourne Red exterior.
If you're really set with your 3 options though, go with your option number 1: MG + CR

It is a very dark blue and the rest of your interior will be black. I have seen it and it looks somewhat strange, like a mismatch...

Compared to red or ivory the blue really only goes on the seats and door panels, whereas the other two colours wrap around the bottom of dash and cabin. That's why i find it a little mismatched, i would love a blue interior but at least make it noticeably blue, then again i can be wrong and the builder pictures are misleading and it looks way better in person
