new door, some work to the rear-panel, lower rocker panel, and interior parts... maybe $10K including airbags?

That's what I am thinking. Let's see on Monday.. just got new rims installed a week ago as well. Both of them are damaged

oh shit your airbags went off too? I don't know much about repairs but I had similar accident happen to me (same area of damage)... it was a 2006 330xi during year... 2009? They called it a total loss because apparently the airbags are expensive to put back? I didn't know that.

I don't think mine is a total loss. But it's far bent in on the inside.. and the airbags went and the seat airbags went off.

In sweden if you have BMW as insurence company you will get a new car if its a total,maximum 2yo or 40000km on the odo,but that crash is not a total...

looks to me to be just a bent up door...the bottom of the car (side skirt) looks untouched....
