It could handle all it wants, still a GM car and can't be used as a daily

I am hoping that the M4 IS my mid-life crisis car because that means I will live to be 136.

Interesting where this thread has gone. It just goes to prove that the definition of a sports car is very individual.

In my definition, the current M cars are not sports cars. Give me $70-$80K to buy a Sports Car it would be a Cayman or possibly a Vette. But give me $70K or so to buy the sportiest sedan and the M3 is the winner.

Any concern about rumors of major cooling problems with the Z06?

Not at all...won't be purchasing till 2017 Model Year (when premiums will either be gone or significantly reduced). By this time they would've figured it out.

The Corvette is certainly an upgrade over the 3-series. Congrats!

The Corvette is finally in the same interior quality class as the 3/5-series, which for $72,000, it should be. If you're into performance, check it out - there's no way you won't be impressed.
Congrats OP! Nice car.

Huge upgrade going from a 335 to C7 Z51.

My 67 Stingray was a DD for about 25 years. Had a fair number of GM cars & all ran everyday not sure why you think a Corvette can't be a daily driver.
