Shuenk N20+ Turbo Upgrade for N20/N26

I recently had the N20+ upgraded turbo installed in my 2015 328i xdrive and it's a game changer. Purchase of the turbo comes with a tuning rebate from Navardi, who specializes in tuning N20/N26 engines. With the upgraded turbo and Navardi custom tune dialed in, my car is a completely different beast pulling super hard through all gears with minimal turbo lag and a huge bump in power.

A lot of times the N20/N26 platform gets overlooked for performance upgrades, so I was happy to see a new product released specifically for our engines. Just figured it was worth a post to let people know about a new upgraded turbo!

I'm still logging and dialing in the custom tune with Navardi, but I'll post a dyno chart here if I ever take it to the dyno.

I've had my 328 for over 5 years now and was either going to sell it or make some major upgrades to make it more fun to drive. Along with the turbo and custom tune, I also replaced the timing chain/guides, installed a GoFastBits diverter valve and flashed the transmission with xHP. These upgrades have made a drastic change in the overall performance of the car.

Great feedback, as noted please post dyno sheet and 1/4 mile slip if you plan to document your newfound power on paper! Should make for exciting results with your upgrades.

It makes 320-330 whp on 93. Anyone who has actually tuned with it likes the shift in power band as it “peaks power higher”, but it’s not a “super turbo” that it was heavily marketed to be. This turbo spools drastically slower than stock/MHI/Dinan/pure stage 2/TTE400.

“N20+ turbo” 18 psi at 3500 rpm
TTE 18 psi at 2800 rpm for comparison.

Stock turbo makes 300-305whp on GOOD 93 octane with custom tune.

A MHI turbo/stage 1 turbo (none of these are honestly worth it unless you need a new turbo for the $$$) is faster than this turbo in a straight line or quarter mile due to spool + torque + powerband.

Dyno sheets are on the website, last 2 photos. Please note the one that says 333whp, was a built motor + a cam mod (bimmermilvs) so you can remove 5-6whp (my own testing with bimmermilvs) from that number for comparison to other dynos seen and shared to be an apples to apples comparison.

Measure the power on Maha Dyno, this is the brand they use in BMW factory. It is not "happy" Dyno and that's why a lot of people do not like it, but the results are 100% real
