Dakar Yellow 435i with M-Performance parts

Better late than never I guess – a couple quick pics I snapped back in February at the Canadian International Auto Show.

Notoriously bad lighting, so excuse the lack of quantity!

Maybe it still sits on shipping blocks

I love Dakar Yellow M's since the days of the E36 M3. Not as flashy as Porsche's Speed Yellow for instance.

It's an Xdrive which has a monstrous wheel gap compared to RWD. It wasn't until I read these forums more regularly where I learned this. I never could understand why I'd occasionally see a 435 Xdrive on the road and cringe at the 4x4 look.

Agreed! When I bought my E36 M3, I really wanted yellow but there was not one on the lot that had the options I was looking for so being the impatient young adult I was I picked up a AW one instead. Should have gotten the yellow!

BMW needs to stop showcasing M Performance stuff on xDrives or in general, cars without the M Performance suspension. Big rims, thin sidewalls, extra carbon lips, huge wheel gap = RICE

Great looking car. I still can't find a lot of info about it. Is it exact the same car as a 2015 BMW 435i M Performance Edition just a year newer? Nothing is missing (suspension, good sounding M Performance exhaust etc)?

Also there is 2016 BMW 435i ZHP, is it the same one? (on photos it has different rims).

Is there a way to find any specs on internet?

This my 2015 435i xDrive M Performance, manual gear box when I picked it up new from the dealer. I've had a Dinan stage 2 installed to boost the hp/torque so the performance are close to an M4. It's now 52,500 km (30,000 miles) and my lease is almost over, my new ride will be an X3 30i.
